Welcome to Team Break, the most secret agency in the universe. No less. Your mission, should you choose to accept it: pick a room, gather your team, and get out before the clock does.

  • Our favourite missions play in English.Briefing, clues, Game Master, debriefing.
  • Three locations.Paris 9 (five minutes from Gare du Nord), La Défense, Roissy-CDG airport.
  • €32 to €45 per person.A Saturday night costs the same as a rainy Tuesday.
  • Teams of 2 to 22depending on the mission. Never played before? Even better.

Yes, you can play in English

Some of the best escape rooms in Paris speak perfect English. Ours, for instance.

At Team Break, most of our missions can be played entirely in English, Prison Break and Haunted Room included: the briefing, the clues, the Game Master following your every move, and the debriefing where you explain how you almost made it. No French required, no experience needed. Mention it when you book or when you arrive, and your Game Master switches to English. A few missions, such as Koh-Lanta and Fort Boyard, are played in French only: the list is in the questions below.

Team Break has been running immersive games since 2014, with over 3 million players briefed, locked in and (mostly) released across seventeen locations in France.

5 players€33€165
6 players€32€192

No weekend surcharge. We checked the rest of the market: this is rare. The Donut Quiz room is €25 per person, whatever the team size.

Just the two of you?

Paris by night, a locked room, and sixty minutes to prove you make a good team. One warning before you book: most of our rooms need at least four players. In central Paris only Haunted Room takes a duo, while La Défense and Roissy-CDG each offer five. Everything is laid out on our escape rooms for two page.

Where to find us

Paris 9

44 rue de Dunkerque, 75009 Paris. Five minutes on foot from Gare du Nord. Step off the Eurostar from London or the train from Brussels or Amsterdam, drop your bags, save the world before dinner.

La Défense

11 Place des Vosges, Courbevoie, at the foot of the business district. Perfect after a day of meetings that could have been emails.

Roissy-CDG Airport

Inside the Aéroville shopping mall, next to Charles de Gaulle airport. A long layover lasts four hours. A mission lasts one. Do the math, then read our guide to playing between two flights.

Arriving by train from London or Brussels? Our biggest venue is not in Paris at all: thirteen missions in Lille, eighty minutes from St Pancras and one hour from Gare du Nord.

What to expect

Before

Arrive fifteen minutes early. The clock starts on time, and every late minute is game time lost. Your Game Master sets the scene and the rules, in English.

Sixty minutes

Search everything, say everything out loud, split up. Your Game Master watches and sends a hint if you get stuck. Hints are free. Pride is optional.

After

Debriefing, team photo, and the long argument about who found the decisive clue. Plan about an hour and a half on site in total.

Questions, Agent?

Which missions can we play in English?
Most of our favourites, from briefing to debriefing: Prison Break, Haunted Room, Walking Dead, Los Bandidos, Le Trésor des Pirates and Donut Quiz, plus Ration at Paris 9 (the choice depends on the venue). Mention it when you book or when you arrive, and your Game Master runs the whole mission in English. Koh-Lanta, Fort Boyard and Jurassik Room are played in French only; for any other mission, check with the venue before you book.
How much does an escape room in Paris cost?
From €32 to €45 per person depending on your team size: €45 each for two players, down to €32 each from six players. Weekends cost the same as weekdays.
How long does it last?
The mission lasts sixty minutes. With the briefing and the debriefing, plan about an hour and a half on site.
Can two people play?
Some of them, not all. In central Paris only Haunted Room takes two players; La Défense and Roissy-CDG each have five two-player missions. The price per person is higher at two, since the private room is shared by fewer agents.
Do we need to book in advance?
Strongly recommended, especially on Saturdays and during school holidays. Each room hosts one team at a time, so slots are limited.
Can children play?
Family missions like Magic School and Fort Boyard work from primary-school age with an adult in the team. Haunted Room is for players fourteen and up.
How do we get there from Gare du Nord?
Our Paris 9 agency is at 44 rue de Dunkerque, a five-minute walk from Gare du Nord and about ten from Gare de l'Est. Eurostar to escape room: fifteen minutes, luggage included.

Your move, Agent.

Somewhere in Paris, a room is waiting, a clock is ready, and Pedro is up to something. You have sixty minutes. Well, you will.
